Ho was previously bestowed the honor of Chevalier de l’Ordre National du Merite in 2009 in recognition of her commitment to diversity as a younger generation.“To me, the significance of this award is much more than to honor a particular individual, but to salute the concept of service for common benefit,” she said. “This is a decoration the French President grants to me for acknowledging the humble role I play in my lifelong advocacy of French art and culture and promotion of cultural exchange and economic development between France and China, Hong Kong and Macau.”Ho is well-known for her passionate love of art and culture and has been the driving force behind MGM’s permanent and temporary art exhibitions at MGM Macau and MGM Cotai. A long-time co-organizer of Le French May, she has also brought a number of prominent French art exhibitions to Macau including Biennial of the Lions, Edgar Degas: Figures in Motion and A Golden Way of Life – Très’Ors.Since her appointment as Ambassador of the Louvre in China in 2012, Ho has been tireless in championing French art and culture and is dedicated to advocating French-Chinese trade and tourism.
