Wildcats finish out of the medals at provincial volleyball championships

High School A Volleyball tournament Saturday in Prince George.The Cats finished third in pool play behind Cedar and Houston Christian and could not get on a roll during the playoff round.Meanwhile, in Kelowna, the boys defeated Smithers to grab 13th spot in the 16-team B.C. High School AA Championship at the UBC Okanagan gymnasium.Mount Sentinel won the consolation contest 2-0 (25-20, 25-16).The other Kootenay team, Selkirk Storm of Kimberley lost to Okanagan Mission in the ninth-tenth contest.MEI of Abbotsford defeated College Heights to capture the overall title.Kelowna Christian defeated Highroad Academy of Chilliwack to win the A girls title.last_img
